Pakistanian nation is anticipating general elections 2007 scheduled soon. Pakistanian elections will give each Pakistanian an opportunity to vote for most deserving Pakistanian political leader and put Pakistan on the road to success. Elections in Pakistan are held under election commission of Pakistan. Pakistanian election commission was formed on 23 rd March 1956. With Pakistanian elections coming, Pakistan is focal point of all latest news. Pakistanian elections are expected to have a strong effect on Pakistan's foreign policy. American government is also concerned with Pakistanian elections since present government of Pervez Musharaf are strong allies of USA. Pakistanian electorate has rejected strongman Pervez Musharaf. Pakistanian elections are expected to bring democracy back in Pakistan and put an end to so called military dictatorship. Pakistanian literacy rate does not show decent statics and Pakistanian elections do not show true face of Pakistanian people. Pakistanian people have now grown more conscious of their social and political position and want to make the right decision in Pakistanian elections. Pakistan recently saw its presidential elections in which Pervez Musharaf was appointed the president of Pakistan. Pakistanian elections will forecast future of Pakistan and its alliance with super powers. The last few months have seen lot of events because of Pakistanian elections. The return of former Pakistanian Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif created ripples in Pakistanian government but ended without having any strong effect on Pakistanian elections. Pakistanian supporters of Nawaz Sharif were disappointed by this failure and lost hopes in forthcoming Pakistanian elections. Similarly former Pakistanian Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto also made a comeback with a chance of possible deal between ruling Pakistanian government and her political party. Pakistanian supporters of both political parties had strong faith in both former Pakistanian prime ministers that they would help democracy flourish in Pakistan. The Pakistanian elections are a wakeup call to Bush administration and will have a strong effect on Pakistan as well. Pakistanian president also introduced local government system in Pakistan. Pakistan has now almost 500 local Pakistanian elected governments. News of a possible deal between Pervez Musharaf and Benazir Bhutto has been circulating local news channels and Pakistanian newspapers. This deal perturbed major Pakistanian political parties participating in 2008 Pakistanian general elections. However after return of former Pakistanian Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and appointment of Pervez Musharaf in Pakistanian presidential elections, possibilities of any such deal were dissolved. The Pakistanian government is facing tough opposition from the religious Pakistanian political parties who are very much against the Pakistanian support to the United States on their war on terrorism. However many liberal Pakistanian groups openly support Pakistanian government in war against terrorism and condemn conservative Pakistanian political parties. The forthcoming Pakistanian elections will have a strong effect on Pakistanian economy and international relations as well. The present Pakistanian government enjoys full support of USA and has launched campaigns all over country for upcoming Pakistanian elections scheduled in 2008. After ruthless Karachi bombings in October 2007, former Pakistanian prime minister announced virtual rallies for campaigning in general Pakistanian elections. Pakistanian prime minister is elected after general Pakistanian elections by Pakistanian national assembly. With Pakistanian elections scheduled soon, one can hope best for Pakistanian nation. Pakistanian media has launched massive campaigns urging Pakistanian youth to participate in upcoming Pakistanian elections.

For international business, Pakistan has become a land of strong economic and industrial growth and offers every opportunity; for leaders of world, the country is a great fragile frontier against the spread of extremism; inside Pakistan itself, pakistanian people are denied basic democratic rights, basic education, lodging and healthcare services. As President Musharaf continues to clamp down on political and media freedoms, potentially imperative elections in Pakistan for the 2007 threaten to become a power struggle between Islamic, military and secular interests than the instant for a large population of Pakistanians to put into effect its right to control the country's social policies.

Every Pakistanian in Pakistan is given an opportunity after every 5 years to cast a vote in elections to keep the Pakistanian democracy alive. Any Pakistanian boy or girl older than 18 years old can cast a vote. Elections in Pakistan are held after every 5 years. Much of the business and the future of the country revolve around these elections. Pakistan being a democratic country, election not only brings a fresh change in Pakistan every time; in fact they pump in new blood in the concrete base of Pakistanian democracy.

At the national level, Pakistanians elect a legislature, the Parliament of Pakistan, which comprises of a directly-elected National Assembly of Pakistan and a senate whose members are selected by elected provincial legislators. Then Prime Minister of Pakistan is elected by the Pakistanians in the National Assembly. The Pakistanian President is elected by the pakistanian electoral college, which comprises of both the Pakistanian houses of Parliament and the provincial assemblies.

In addition to the national parliament and the provincial assemblies of Pakistan, there are more about 5000 elected local pakistanian governments which participate in elections

The Political system of Pakistan is a multi-part system, with numerous parties running for the Pakistanian Elections. These Pakistanian political partoes must form alliances during or after elections, thus resulting in the formation of coalition pakistanian governments forming out of negotiations between pakistanian parties.

Upcoming elections

General election, 2007

General elections will be held for the Pakistanian people in early January 2008.

Code of conduct

Since Pakistan has been in a situation of general volatility, therefore a mock-up code of conduct has been put forward by Pakistanian Citizens Group on Electoral Process (CGEP) to the Pakistanian Election Commission and the pakistanian political parties. The code of conduct suggests all the stakeholders in Pakistan to agree on a list of rules defined mutually by them as early as possible, in order to provide fair ground for play and a wide field for a fair general election for the pakistanian people

Terrorism in Pakistan

United States of America has severe concerns over the current Pakistanian regime that enough is not being to assist its allies in the war on extremism and terrorism. On the other hand the President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharaf has denied such claims, saying that "It is only Pakistanians through which the war on terrorism and extremism can be won against Al-Qaeda or Taliban, and that Pakistanian Government has been taking utmost measures and Pakistan is the only country that's has delivered the most, tracking them with around thirty thousand troops, if someone is not doing enough, it is the other countries". The pakistanian regime is facing tough opposition from the religious pakistanian party of MMA coalition, who are very much against the Pakistanian support to the United States on their war on terrorism.
